How does the scoring system work?
You can double and triple letter values by using the 2xL and 3xL spots on your board;
10 bonus points are rewarded for a 7-letter word;
Your word score doubles when using all WordOns from your opponent;
Penalty: The total value of unused WordOns will be subtracted from your word score.
Where can I find a tutorial?
If you want to replay the tutorial, go to the Settings screen (top-right icon on overview screen), scroll down a little and hit Tutorial
How can I resign a game?
Swipe over the game in the overview screen when it's your turn and agree to the resignation question.
I just want to let my opponent know I'm waiting. Can I poke?
Yeah, swipe over the game in the overview screen when it's their turn to send a poke. You can only poke once every few hours, though.
Why can't I download WordOn HD to my device?
Either you don't hit our minimum specs or you're not running Android or iOS. We don't have support for Windows phone at the moment.
Where can I view my stats?
You can view your player information by clicking on your image in the gamescreen. You can also check your opponent’s statistics.
Where can I view my achievements?
You can tap an avatar (photo or image from someone) to see any profile and watch their stats. Including your own, of course.
How can I change my username, password or avatar?
Go to Settings (top-right icon on overview screen) and click Account Settings. You are free to change your name once.
I forgot my password! What should I do?
Click on the Forget Password link on the login screen and we'll send an email with further instructions to the email address you specified when registered.
What's this WordOn Strength all about on a profile?
This number shows your rating based on the ranked random matches you've played. The value goes up or down when you win or lose and it's used to find an equally skilled opponent for you.
Where are Coins and Stars for?
You earn coins for every word you play (with a maximum of 5 for your best possible word). And if you have collected enough, you can change them for stars in the shop. Stars are used for cool game features like the Wordalyzer, Hints and Peek.
What does the Coin Booster do?
You can grab the Coin Booster from the shop and once activated, it will give you an extra coin for every word played. Forever.
How does the weekly tournament work?
The weekly tournament uses your facebook friends to set ranking and who’s playing. To be able to take part in this you have to sign in with your facebook account. From here on it’s a breeze, just start playing and whenever you reach the top 3 in the weekly tournament you will earn a medal! You can show them off on your profile. You need to have at least three friends playing WordOn HD to have a valid tournament.
